Scarlett Coley :: Creative Director

Scarlett Coley leads communication strategies online and in print to build strong brands with effective design solutions. Her overlapping areas of expertise are web design, front-end web development and print design. Scarlett’s eight years of experience working in the design field provide in-depth knowledge of tools and best practices for delivering intelligent and well executed materials. This includes experience as a player on many creative teams across the country and abroad.

Scarlett has held a number of titles as staff and on contract for agencies and in-house creative departments, including: Brunello Creative, Wallpaper*, Rue La La, J.Jill, (add)ventures, Cambridge BioMarketing, Dodier & Co., Creative Slice, McKesson, and Mass General Hospital. Her experience as an independent contractor and business owner allows her to provide hi-caliber creative services to clients in a broad range of sectors.

She earned an MA in Design from Central Saint Martins, London − one of the world’s leading design institutions. During her time in London, Scarlett worked for two magazines including Wallpaper*, created thesis work on the subject of emotional branding and psychology in advertising, and produced a 3 floor design exhibit at the prestigious OXO Tower on Southbank.

Clients and peers recognize Scarlett for her exceptional conceptual thinking and artistry. She’s been a founding member of several art and design organizations, as well as an exhibiting artist showing video installation, design and fine art works. Always at the cutting edge, Scarlett frequently attends design and development events, most recently An Event Apart and Handcrafted CSS.

As a proficient WordPress developer she’s familiar with content management architecture and functionality. Her thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, user interface design and industry best practices − coupled with years of experience in art and project management means double trouble for obstacles in the way of great design.
